Alissa graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the Sociology Human Services track from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Alissa has gathered a range of education through courses focusing on juvenile delinquency, community development and drug and alcohol abuse. She also has gained experience while working at her family’s daycare center, and through interning at The CARE Center where she was then hired on as a Supervised Visitation Specialist. She is now a Family Preservation Specialist.
Bonny graduated summa cum laude from Pennsylvania Highland Community College with an Associate's degree in Human Services. She is currently an honors student at St. Francis University studying for her bachelor's degree in Behavior Science/Psychology with a minor in Social Work. She has over 5 years working experience in the Human Service field. Bonny joined The CARE Center in November 2015 as a Family Preservation Specialist.
Malinda Levis completed a BS in Nursing and an MA in Adult and Community Education from IUP. She has over 25 years of experience working with survivors of sexual and other forms of violence at Indiana University of PA (IUP). She established IUP's sexual violence victim service and education program in 2004 and continued to direct it as part of her responsibilities until her retirement in 2015. She joined The CARE Center as the Child Advocacy Center coordinator in March 2016.
Nora brings an extensive background and expertise to her administrative position here at The CARE Center. She has worked in the public sector for over thirty years, and is very humbled to be a part of assisting the children and families of Indiana County.
Jessica Clark graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and has worked in the non profit sector for the American Red Cross and Indiana Regional Medical Center. Jessica was brought on as the Executive Director in June of 2014.
Erin graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a Minor in Sociology. She received her Master’s degree from Indiana University Pennsylvania. Erin worked previously as a Therapeutic Support Staff, a paraprofessional in an Early Intervention classroom, and a Crisis Intervention Specialist at the Armstrong-Indiana Crisis Hotline. Erin was hired as a Supervised Visitation Specialist for The CARE Center in September 2015. She is now a Family Preservation Specialist.
